How the idea was born

Air-Tec Wear was founded in 2024 by Carl Brown, an entrepreneur and Type 1 insulin-dependent diabetic with a keen interest in product and textile design. Carl knew from years of personal experience just how uncomfortable, and even painful, traditional compression socks can be to wear. He wasn't just looking for a better sock, he was looking for a solution that actually worked without the discomfort.

After extensive research, the Air-Tec Wear the Holistic Health Sock for people living with diabetes, varicose veins, post-swelling and circulation problems, and the RD2's 7-part football sock system is designed for athletes (comming soon).

Our vision is simple, to merge sports science with medical innovation into one essential product.

We are a small UK team based in Suffolk. We design our products with the same care we would put into a pair for a loved one. We believe socks are an underrated piece of clothing, the right pair can truly change how you walk, sleep, and live.
